Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you subscribe.
Tired Market is a Windows research application. It organizes evidence and surfaces changes; it does not trade or make decisions for you.
What does the $30/month subscription include?
The Windows application, core research and algorithmic scoring, research-data gathering, Research Scenarios, watchlists and history, optional AI integration capability, updates during an active subscription, and activation on up to two devices.
Is AI usage included in the subscription?
No. Tired Market does not bundle or resell AI usage. Optional provider fees are paid by you directly to providers under your separate accounts.
Can I use Tired Market without AI?
Yes. With zero AI keys, the core research board, market-data collection, scoring, ranking, and change detection continue to operate. AI is an optional analysis layer.
Who pays AI-provider charges?
You do, directly to any provider you choose to configure. Provider pricing and terms can change; review them with the provider before using a key.
What operating system is supported?
Tired Market is currently a 64-bit Windows desktop application. A 4-core processor or better is recommended, along with internet access and local disk space for the research cache.
How many computers can I activate?
Up to two devices per active subscription. Contact support if a replaced or unavailable computer needs a device reset.
Does Tired Market execute trades?
No. It does not connect to a brokerage account, place orders, manage positions, or automate trading.
Does it tell me what to buy or sell?
No. Labels such as BUY, WATCH, AVOID, score, confidence, ranking, or opportunity are software-generated research classifications. They are not individualized investment recommendations or instructions.
Where is my research stored?
The research workspace, cache, and settings are stored locally in the folder selected during setup. External requests still occur for market information, license validation, updates, and any AI providers you configure.
Does Tired Market need internet access?
Yes, for current market and news information, periodic license validation, software updates, and optional AI-provider requests. Normal licensing does not require a constant connection: validation is approximately every seven days with an approximately fourteen-day offline grace period.
Why does the first run take longer?
The first run builds the local research cache from available sources while respecting their limits. The board fills as information arrives over several minutes. Later sessions benefit from the cache already on disk.
What happens if I lose my license key?
Contact support from the purchase email address. The licensing system supports secure key recovery by issuing a replacement key; the previous key becomes invalid.
What happens if I replace my computer?
Your subscription supports two devices. If an old activation is no longer usable, contact support for help resetting or replacing that activation.
How do updates work?
Software updates are included while your subscription is active. Internet access is required to obtain them. Release availability and installation instructions may be provided in the application or through Tired Market support.
What information does Tired Market use?
Where supported and available: prices and price history, company fundamentals, SEC and public regulatory filings, insider transaction filings, company information, headlines, market indicators, and historical context used for scoring. Sources vary in timeliness and availability.
Is AI output always accurate?
No. Models can be wrong, outdated, incomplete, or inconsistent. Tired Market exposes participation and disagreement so you can verify material information against primary sources.
Is market data always real-time?
No. Information may be delayed, cached, stale, unavailable, or subject to third-party limits. Tired Market tracks freshness where supported but is not an official distributor of proprietary real-time exchange data.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
You can cancel future renewals. Access ordinarily continues through the paid period. Eligible first-time subscribers may request a refund within seven calendar days of the initial purchase; renewal charges are generally nonrefundable. See the Subscription & Billing Terms.
